Single Wall Corrugated PE Pipe Production Line/ Conduit Pipe Making Machine Introduction

Single Wall Corrugated PE Pipe Production Line/ Conduit Pipe Making Machine can produce 9mm to 1200mm OD/ID corrugated pipe, which are widely used as cable protect cover, medical transfer pipe (small size corrugated pipe); gas transfer, water transfer (big size corrugated pipe) etc.

Single Wall Corrugated PE Pipe Production Line/ Conduit Pipe Making Machine consists of:
1. extruder
a. We choose extruder type according to different material. We usually use conical double screw extruder for PVC material while single screw extruder for PE/PP material.

b. We choose extruder model according to pipe size & mould design. For example, PE 9mm to 25mm corrugated pipe, we choose SW-65/30 single screw extruder for high speed design or SW-55/30 single screw extruder for normal speed design.

c. We choose extruder QTY according to pipe design. For single wall corrugated pipe, we use one extruder; for double wall corrugated pipe, 2 sets of extruders. For example, for PE 160mm single wall corrugated pipe production machine, we choose SW-75/33 single screw extruder; for double wall type we choose SW-75/33 single screw extruder + SW-65/33 single screw extruder as well as SW-45/90 conical double screw extruder for small PVC single wall corrugated pipe extrusion.

According to client’s requirements, our extruder could be controlled by SIEMENS PLC.

2.pipe extrusion die + corrugated pipe forming die

a. Pipe extrusion die have the same function like normal solid wall pipe dies, making the melted plastic into round shape.

1.But there is difference, because its wall thickness is very thin, so it will be blown with air when going into forming die, in case of very bad shaping and sizing, which is a difficult control part.

2.Corrugated pipe forming die is usually made of aluminum/aluminum-alloy. According to pipe size & forming machine type, it has different designs of setting on forming machine. And there are different cooling types according to line speed design, such as normal speed production speed, fan cooling, high speed production speed, water cooling.d. Our designed forming die can realize on-line belling, which is convenient for pipe connection.

3. forming machine
Forming machine is used to set the forming die and make the forming die continuously work.

4. cutting machine + stacker or winding machine
a. Usually for small size (9mm to 110mm) corrugated pipe, it is equipped with winding machine, single disc winder or double disc winder, both are ok. For high speed, we suggest double disc winder.

b. Like 75mm, 90mm, 110mm pipes, they can be cut into short ones, such as 9m, 6m etc. It is better to have it equipped with cutting machine + stacker because cutting efficiency is higher than that of winding type.
